Volcanic Range Whatcom County

Walking Wild : Mount Baker, North is now in post-production and will be released in 2008.

Mount Baker is an active volcano in the western Cascades, just south of the Canadian Border. This dynamic range offers an incredible array of day hikes and over-night excursions. These walks range from a gentle stroll along a roaring glacier-fedc river to a ridge-top journey offers majestic views of anient volcanic ranges.

Mount Baker's trails can be reached from the Mount Baker Highway (State Route 542) in northwest Washington. They are approximately two hours from Seattle and one hour from Vancouver, British Colombia. From I-5, drive east from Exit 255 (Sunset Drive/Mt Baker Highway) in Bellingham.
